Freeware of the Moment- Evolution (now for Windows)
Evolution has long been an Outlook replacement for the Linux world and it has evolved nicely. Providing a handy portal into Exchange Servers for the Linux crowd, it has now been released for Windows. Evolution for Windows qualifies for our Freeware of the Moment because it provides a free and full-featured method for working with Exchange Servers. It is not as pretty as Outlook but it’s free and it’s easier to use. I can envision netbook owners installing this on dual-boot configurations and maybe sharing data between the two OSes. I haven’t done this and it may not be possible that it sounds cool.

I thought Netbooks are all about… the net? dual-booting a netbook is even for this geek very low on the priority list.

$69? Jeez, I get like 1/4 of a netbook for that

Argg, sorry about that. The last comment should have gone into the snowflake thread. Not sure how it ended up here (might have been me… or the cloud).

Please don’t forget to mention that Evolution is not yet compatible with Exchange 2007 servers.
