Today's blog posts are brought to you by the letter "R"

Digifriendsm3mid Yes, we've gone the Sesame Street route of sponsorship here at jkOnTheRun and today's blog posts are brought to you by the letter "R". The numbers "3" and "7" also wanted to share the spotlight today, but after the news I just received, we feel it's in our best interests to offer sole sponsorship today to the letter "R". (Note to 3 and 7: we didn't cash the check yet and we'll get you in the rotation as soon as possible. Thanks.)

Let's see: first order of business is to clarify a story from yesterday. That Digifriends MID post where we heard that the company had contracted sales through Sprint and Nextwave. Turns out "contracted" should have been "contacted" and therefore, there's no deal in place. All because of one little "R". Oy!

Thanks to Peter at Digifriends for the clarifcation. In related news: early prototypes of the attachable keyboard for the MID were found to be of the QWETY type, so potential purchasers will need a thesaurus that has synonyms without the letter "R". Good luck.

Thank you for the coection regarding the Spint and Nextwave contacts.

query so that means its a lame thumb input keyboard?

What the market needs is a touch type full windows computer that will fit in a large jacket pocket. Without a touch type keyboard (not to be confused with thumb)and not being large jacket pocket in size then I see all of these new UMPC/MID's being toys not selling well.
