Is the Atom focus shifting to Diamondville?

Intelsilverthorneprocessor It's hard to ignore that there's a ton of detailed news and expected availability dates on netbooks, but deets on the MID products are a little more nebulous. InfoWorld figures that Intel is waiting for the breakthrough MID product to spur demand for Silverthorne CPUs and that could be playing into the Diamondville ramp-up. After all, why focus production efforts on a chipset for fledgling products, when there's huge demand and many product lines using the Diamondville-based Atom. Although no official statements on production were made by Intel, we already heard about shortages of Atom chips, presumably the D-ville type. If you were Intel, wouldn't you focus on the chip that has pent-up demand? Ought to be interesting to follow this as it develops and I wonder if it might actually affect the MID market in a negative way.
