HTC Touch Dual launched in US
HTC has launched the Touch Dual running Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional in the US today. The Touch Dual will be released this quarter and will be one of the first phones in the US to ship with WM6.1 The Touch Dual has a slide-out keyboard and TouchFLO, HTC's finger-scrolling UI.

I'm excited about the dual keyboard options. Interested in what JK and Kevin think. Does that mean that the keyboard is removable? If so, awesome. It would remind me of the TC1100. I like the "keyboard is optional" idea. Then you can choose workhorse or supermodel.

Hey, I am wondering if anyone has any idea when the new HTC Advantage 7510 will be appearing? That is what I am waiting for.

Dave, I don't think it has GPS.

Maybe I'm getting it confused with the Cruise model? Hmmm. One of these touch-only HTC devices really intrigued me. (I have a GSM Touch version at home we got through work - wonder if I can find the updated GUI to download.)

The unit will be available at BestBuy as an unlocked phone.
It is quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE (850/900/1800/1900Mhz) and HSDPA (850/1900Mhz) connectivity.
Cody: the keyboard slides out from underneath and is attached to the phone.
Dave: No GPS. The Touch Cruise does havea GPS and TomTom.
