jkOnTheRun Audio Edition #25- Samsung Q1 SSD in use

Jkbanner_audio_edition_1_1

Watch jkOnTheRun Audio Edition #25 here (WMV format, 640 x 480, 275 MB, 42:43 minutes)

The Samsung Q1 SSD is the Korean model of the Q1 that has no hard drive.  It has a blazing fast 32 GB solid state disk instead and iis the device I use every day in my work.  Well, you can see for yourself in this video shot in living color.  I try to show the Q1, lovingly named Flash, going through the paces I normally use it for daily and I hope it gives a little insight into how I can use such a small device with a little screen to be really productive.  Enjoy the show and let us know what you think.

I apologize for the buzzing noise in the background.  It was not there until the WMV file was spit out and too late for me to fix it.

in the video u do almost all ur navigation with ur fingers in 8x4, but how easy is it to hit those quick launch/system tray icons with your fingers?

also, how is overall navigation in 10x6 with ur fingers?

The navigation methods you saw in the video are the way I use the device every day. While the icons can be pretty small at 1024x600 it's easy to tap them with my big fingers.

JK,

Once again you have gone above and beyond to show us another excellent Audio podcast.

Love the make-up.

The opening is hysterical! Who knew you were a diva! Well done all around, my friend.

What makeup?

Very entertaining video! Is that really a firewire port on the side of Flash? I thought it was just a power port for the Samsung optical drive.

James, What an awesome videocast, Yourself and Kevin C Tofel are the best in the business for the video casts. You are increasingly being refered too as the Godfather of mobile tec. I would love to do a video blog on what is on my desk, maybe theres an idea for a futute competition. The fans/listeners submit a short videocast on what tec is on there desk and as a pize you could imortilise the best one on JK on the run guest edition.

Thankyou for your outstanding contribution to mobiletec.

kind regards

Dean (Scotish Highlands)

Thanks everyone! That "firewire" port could very well be a propriety port for a drive. It looks sort of like the icon for firewire, though.
