Palm releases branded TomTom Navigator for the Treo
Palm has released a new GPS Navigation system for the Palm Treo that looks super. The system is branded by Palm but uses TomTom Navigator 6 on the software side. The bundle includes:
- TomTom NAVIGATOR 6 software
- 1GB* Memory card pre-installed map of the continental United States and Canada
- GPS receiver powered by SiRFStarIII with Bluetooth wireless technology
- Vehicle device cradle with mounting bracket and suction cup pad
- Vehicle power adapter
The Bluetooth GPS Receiver is a SiRFstarIII unit and the features of the new version of the Navigator software are really cool. The bundle is compatible with the Treo 700w, 700p, and the 650, so Palm has everyone covered with the one product. The Palm GPS Navigator Smartphone Edition 2 featuring TomTom Navigator 6 (not kidding, that's the official name) will set you back $299 which quite frankly is a great price. Me want bad.
