Add-on allows using gestures in Firefox

Mouse_gestures1Mouse Gestures is an add-on for Firefox that lets you perform common functions like page forward/back using a mouse.  The add-on is a natural for use on Tablet PCs and UMPCs as you can draw your gesture right on the web page and Firefox will execute your command.  It's free, of course.  :)

Its good that Firefox has so many good addons. But Opera already has most of these features inbuilt (4.62Mb)which IMHO makes Firefox a bloatware.

Been using All-In-One Gestures (which integrates MouseGestures) for months and cannot do without it. Not only have I blogged about it twice, but I also mentioned it months ago on a little blog known as Kevin 2.0 (what's up kct? Where's "I've been using it for months thanks to Sumocat" comment? ;P ).

But seriously, one feature really worth mentioning for UMPC and small screen PC users is the ability to gesture the Full Screen command. Gives you maximum window space while retaining tabbed browsing and you can navigate without buttons by using gestures.

Kevin 2.0? Never heard of it. ;) Actually with all of the Vista testing I've been doing over the past several months, I relegated myself to using IE 7 or IE 7+; I only use Firefox for a few treasured extensions, but this sounds like it's worth a look to me.

Definately prefer surfing with the aid of Mouse Gestures with my tablet to surfing via keyboard. (Took me about three days to be hooked.)

If you like using gestures, you really need to check out StrokeIt:

Mouse gestures for any program you want. Completely customizable. I can't live without it on my Tablet.
