More Samsung Q1 units on the way
If you have been trying to snag one of the Samsung Q1 units (which is a sweet device) then check out CDW. A confidential source has informed me that CDW will be receiving 2,000 units on May 24th for immediate shipping to customers. I wouldn’t wait if I were you, the Samsung UMPC has been selling out at all retail outlets as soon as they get inventory.

well, that's a good news. I still thinking about to get or not to get one for my daughter that starts collage now in September.

Accessories usually follow later on items like this.
Frank, if your daughter is not really going to carry it around every day a cheap laptop and printer would probably serve her better. My daughters used laptops that lasted all 4 years and I was quite happy about that.

Jeff, I understand why you might feel that way and as a rule I do not write articles that can't be sourced. I have only done two and in both cases I was told to feel free to pass the information on to jkOnTheRun readers but not to divulge where the info came from as they could get in trouble. So that's what I did. When I say confidential source that is why, if I disclose who they are they will get in trouble and I won't do that. Sorry.

I am sorry to hear that. It makes me wonder sometimes what editors agenda's are. Not saying i dont trust yours but if other "big businesses" are feeding info it would be nice to disclose this.

My info never comes from businesses, just individuals. If I write an article about a business and there is a relationship I would state so right in the article, as I did with DualCor.
